In 2014, Coca-Cola® released a range of personalised Coke® cans featuring popular South African names and phrases. We built a fully responsive online platform that let teens create and share custom micro-videos and images inspired by these phrases.
Create your unique message
We collaborated with SA’s top animators, directors and musicians to translate the phrases into 40 6-second videos. Users could choose from thousands of local names and phrases to create super-customised messages.
All our users had to do was choose a name and a message and hit ‘share’. Videos and images were dynamically stitched together and optimised for the recipient’s screen.
Over 200 000 unique messages were created and shared. The campaign received over 85 million media impressions, exceeding our target by 317% and garnering 120 115 new Facebook fans for Coca-Cola®.
